Google has entered into a partnership with DomainDiscount24.com, to offer country code suffix domains for Apps customers. Internet registrars like DomainDiscount24.com, fulfills Google’s requirement to offer its customers buying the Apps suite – a choice of adding a country domain to the transaction. Google Apps (cloud based email) is used by companies, government bodies and educational institutions, and they have been asking for a domain option for years now.

As Google said, “Thanks to a partnership with domaindiscount24.com – that we now offer 30 top-level domain (TLD) options, including 22 ccTLDs, with prices starting at $8 per year. Your new domain comes configured with all Google Apps services, including Gmail for your custom email addresses (@yourcompany.com). Your domain will be registered with domaindiscount24.com.”

Companies signing up for Google Apps will have the choice between generic domains like .org or .com, along with country-specific domains at a yearly cost of US $8.
